A fond farewell...

Last night, our school lost one of our awesome teachers, Ms. Ostermiller. She was a little younger than me and was the best special pre-k teacher around. She had been in and out of the hospital for a month and was taken there last weekend unconscious. Her whole system had begun to shut down and she passed away last night, about 20 minutes before our Open House began. After open house we shared a quiet, peaceful moment as a staff in her honor. She was an only child, and within the last 3 years had lost both her mother, then her father. She was always smiling and willing to help anyone. She was funny as all get out. I am thankful to have known and been uplifted by this amazing gal and she will be greatly missed.
